  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to the cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
  3. Stir in the 1 cup of toasted, chopped pecans.
  4. Press this mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch pie dish or serving bowl. Chill while you prepare the topping.
